Jessica and Daniel’s love story started at a little restaurant in Cairns
called Noa
This first date ended up meaning so much to them that they later named their son Noah in its honour. From that moment on, it was clear these two were building a life full of meaning, laughter, and adventure.
Some days are spent exploring the beautiful outdoors. From the beaches of Palm Cove and Mission Beach to cassowary spotting at Etty Bay and cooling off at Babinda Boulders, on other days, they do a sweet tradition called mid-week dinner. A weekly date night where they take time out just for each other. It’s this same energy that carried through their wedding day: relaxed, joyful, and full of connection.
Their Walkabout Creek wedding was everything they dreamed of! Relaxed, intimate, and beautifully set amongst the forest. The soft afternoon light filtered through the trees as they exchanged vows by the water, creating a moment that felt quiet, genuine, and timeless.
Every detail feels intentional, and every moment tells a story. It was impossible not to feel the love in the air!
After the ceremony, we explored the stunning grounds of Walkabout Creek, taking portraits surrounded by lush greenery, with the golden sunset peeking through the trees. The natural backdrop made for the dreamiest photos, perfectly reflecting Jessica and Daniel’s love for the outdoors.
For couples dreaming of a Queensland wedding surrounded by nature, Walkabout Creek is absolutely perfect. Offering a beautiful mix of forest, lake views, and that effortless, romantic atmosphere that photographs so well.
If you’re planning your own Walkabout Creek wedding (or anywhere surrounded by nature in Brisbane or Queensland), we’d love to help you capture your story in an authentic, timeless way.
