Jess and Kirra's first date lasted 6 hours...

They've been talking online for quite sometime before they're amazing first date at a sushi place. Even before meeting each other IRL, their connection was undeniable, spending most of their time swapping stories and sharing their interests. On their second date, the couple went to Tambourine Mountain to get to know each other more, and boy did they, cause while Jess knew every bug in Tambourine Mountain, Kirra knew she was the one.

Jess and Kirra's relationship grew stronger over the years that they were together, and one fateful day in September, Jess got down on one knee at their most special spot, Tambourine Mountain. You see, Kirra has been suspecting that Jess was about to propose, so she did her investigating, and deduced the proposal date.... about a month off. But hey, it still worked! 😉

PLANNING YOU SPECIAL DAY

Planning a wedding can feel intimidating, but with a solid plan, the process can be stress-free. Here are the important steps to get you started:

1. Determine Your Budget

Your budget is the cornerstone of your wedding planning. Determine how much you can spend and prioritize your expenses accordingly, from the venue to the vendors you book.

2. Draft a Guest List

Early on, decide who you want to invite. This will influence your venue choice and overall budget, so create a preliminary list that you and your partner both agree on.

3. Select a Date and Venue

The date and venue are pivotal as they set the tone for your wedding. Consider the season, availability, and capacity of venues. Booking early helps you secure your desired location.

4. Book Key Vendors

Your photographer/videographer and celebrant should be booked as soon as possible. The best vendors get booked quickly, so it’s important to secure them early. The vendors you book will depend on what type of wedding you'll be having, so decide which ones are non-negotiable, and book them first.

5. Choose a Wedding Style

Decide on a theme or style for your wedding, whether it's rustic, elegant, or something else. This will guide your decor, attire, and overall aesthetic.

6. Send Save-the-Dates

After confirming your date and venue, send out save-the-date cards. This gives your guests plenty of time to plan and make travel arrangements.

7. Create a Wedding Day Timeline

Develop a detailed timeline for your wedding day, covering everything from getting ready to the last dance. Coordinate with your vendors to ensure a smooth-sailing wedding day!

By following these essential steps, you'll establish a strong foundation for a well-organized and memorable wedding. And remember, if you're still having problems with planning, don't hesitate to reach out to your vendors.

Happy planning!
