James + Jamie's Wedding at Ravenswood Homestead (featured in Polkadot Weddings)

Some weddings feel extra special — not just because of the location or the light (though Ravenswood Homestead definitely brought both!), but because of the people. Jamie and James are long-time friends of ours, and being invited to capture their day was an absolute honour.

James, a talented photographer himself (you may know him from Ambrosia Productions), is someone we’ve known and admired for years — and seeing him on the other side of the camera with Jamie was such a joy. We’ve been lucky enough to witness their journey together over the past 13 years, and to see it all come together in such a relaxed, love-filled celebration was nothing short of magical.

Their wedding day was everything you’d hope for, laid-back, laughter-filled, full of warm hugs and happy tears. The homestead offered the perfect backdrop for their kind of love: classic, grounded, and quietly powerful. Every little detail was so them — effortless, personal, and deeply meaningful.

It’s not every day we get to photograph the wedding of dear friends, and this one will always stay close to our hearts.
